The sailaway is sold as a waterproof shell fitted with ballast and a engine.  This enables the owner to use the boat as a 'camper' whilst fitting out the interior.

'Sailaway' Specification

From £492 per foot
BALLAST Adequate ballast is installed onto a bitumen-prepared base
FLOOR Treated wooden floor is fitted within the cabin area
WINDOWS Supplied and fitted to your instructions
DOORS Traditional craft:
Twin steel doors to the rear and sliding hatch.
Front doors are hard wood and glazed or steel, to your instruction

Cruiser craft:
Hardwood doors are installed to both front and rear, glazed to the front, or steel, to your instruction.

ENGINE Beta Marine diesel engine and matched gearbox installed with standard instrumentation and controls, fitted with twin alternators, or an engine of your choice.
ELECTRICS Two 12 volt batteries supplied - one starter, one leisure
PAINT Shell finished in one coat red oxide primer - one coat undercoat.
Hull is coated in bitumastic.
4 sacrificial anodes are fitted to the hull.
